After a couple weeks of work on the old swap meet Sun tester, I just fired this guy up with some new electronics and new wiring installed and it works! Now I have a bright, steady strobe light on the degree wheel. This was my major concern with this unit. I need a machine that operates accurately, so it's a big relief to know that all of the core functions are now working. It's a great feeling to fix something and be able to use it. I already have it torn back apart so that I can repaint the cabinet and get the rest of the parts cosmetically restored. In true Warrior fashion, I'm enjoying this process for what it is, so I may never actually be done with it!
